are you using a motherboard with Intel integrated graphics?

if so right click on the desktop-->properties-->settings-->advanced-->click the tab for your intel graphics media driver-->you will see a button for graphics properties, click it and you will see a tab for rotation, check to make sure no type of rotation has been checked, if so disable rotation.
