Workgroup filesharing

Is it possible to grant a local user of one machine, access to a resourse on another machine but only to them...not using the "everyone" group?

For example:
machine name: WS01
local username: Tom

machine name: WS02
local username: Harry

I want tom to be able to access a share on WS02, but I don't want to allow anyone else in the workgroup to be able to access the share.

Is this possible?

not positive on xp-home, but on the pro version yes you can, just set the file sharing on the folder you want to share and then set the security settings for that user.

OK, both machines are XP Pro.

I have the file shared but how do I view the local user accounts for the remote machine? At the moment I can only see the user accounts on the local machine.

Still a little stuck on this one.

One machine will prompt for a password and I have to use an account local to that machine to access the files.

The other machine allows me immediate access without even prompting.
