Stop from accessing a particular site
Is there a way to stop a computer running Windows 98 SE from accessing a particular web site ? Is there a setting in Windows 98SE that would accomplish this, or is there some free program that could be installed ? Many thanks, Mike

If you enable the content advisor in IE, then you can allow or disallow websites and or pages from within there, and you must create a password to enable content advisor, so that way only you can get back in and change settings. Go to internet properties, then the content tab, and you'll see the content advisor right at the top of the window.

Windows 98 uses the same hosts file that is found in 2000/XP. You can use that to map www.whatever.com to 127.0.0.1.
