Moving Windows XP

When I get my new pc up and running whats the best way for me to go about uninstalling XP on this computer so I can install it on another. I have nothing of any value on this pc so its ok if I lose it.

Thanks in advance

AJ

What kind of computer do you have now? Home built or name brand?

Do you have the WinXP installation CD?

If you are going to reinstall everything from scratch, simply install XP on the new computer and then reformat the old computer to stay legal when you are done saving your data. If your old computer is a name brand that shipped with XP, you need to buy a new copy anyway, you cannot transfer an OEM load to a new build.

Original Equipment Manufacturer - in this context it means a preinstalled copy and usually a recovery CD, not an unrestricted copy.
