Help- Windows Shut Down

Hello all,

I tried to restart my Dell laptop, and instead, this blue screen that says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer." I cannot get past this screen, regardless if I try safe mode, the last configuration that worked, etc.

The technical info says the following:

***STOP: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xF82490F9, 0xF89513F4m 0xF89510F0)

*** NDIS.sys - Adress F82490F9 base at F8245000, DateStamp 41107ec3

That is all the information that I have. I also unplugged it, and took the battery out for about seven hours, but I cannot get Windows to restart.

Can someone please help?

What's the model of the Laptop?
Is this a newly loaded XP?

Are you sure you cannot boot to Safe Mode?
At what point in the boot process do you get the Error?
This says that if it's not a driver issue then it's BIOS or HDD space issue.

It's a refurbished inspiron 6000 Dell. When I try safe mode, or safe mod with networking or command promt, it just... remains on the black page, with a whole bunch of "multi(0)disk... etc. on the entire page, and no button that I push out side of power works.

Space issue? How can I remedy this? I can't get to any type of menu.

I don't think it's a space issue unless you had a lot of stuff.
So you don't get the stop error at all anymore?

Yeah- I still get that. That infuriating blue screen is the only thing that shows up.

I don't believe I had a lot of files, however, I did download a few vids with V Downloader from youtube, but that's about it. Either way, I am in no position to delete any files, because I can't start (or restart) Windows.
