Help finding files
Need some help finding files in Outlook express. I built another computer and added my old HD to this new one. I use it as a back-up HD. I am using Win XP OS. I am trying to find the Local files in OE because they have some info that I would like to transfer to the new HD. I am having trouble finding the files on my old HD. Is there a way to find and copy these files? I have had success in moving most files from my old HD to the New HD except in this case. I have a lot of info stored in those e-mails that I had saved and was wondering if there is a solution. Thanks David

OE files use the suffix .dbx. Thus, you can just search for all files with that extension. You might have to make sure that you can view all files and folders as these are hidden be default:
Start > Control panel > Folder Options > View > Tick 'Show Hidden Files and Folders'. |
