Vista Sidebar for XP??
anyone know of a nice vista sidebar for XP?
the 2 i've tried so far are not so good IMO, (or not as nice as vistas built in one by MS) thoosje and a simple 4 gadget SB by MSTN. i dont want to go as far as a Vista transformation. i have tried google desktop which crippled my PC after a while so had to rid myself. i like the clock faces and the feeds, but dont know if it will ever happen that you can add any gadget available for Vistas original SB, but someone might know. thanks

I used your thread title and googled it....Found instructions for: "Install the Vista / Longhorn Sidebar into XP"
It involved downloading a hacked patch so I won't post the link here....

Lostplanet, you can also get DesktopX to change the look & feel of your desktop. It's not free but the cost is reasonable. Install it, and then go to Deviant Art's website to download additional skins. You can find some fantastic skins; sidebars, & widgets there.
