User profile in XP

I set up a "guest"profile on my computer for my daughter (running Windows XP home ) and she wants to use Live Messenger on her profile so she downloaded it from the internet but when she tried to install it, she couldn't because she doesn't have administrators rights, thats why I set up a profile so she couldn't accidentally erase any of my files. So how can she install Live Messenger in her profile? I have Live messenger in my profile but she needs it in hers. How can I do that she doesn't want to be stuck with just the messenger that comes with Windows XP

Promote her, install it, then demote her.

Or you (admin) install it for her.

splat

I am sure one or both of these methods would work if you could explain how I do it.

Thanks

You could change the guest account to her own account. Then make her an administrator temporly so she can install her messenger... Then change it to limited.. That will be the same as having a guest account.. to do this go Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>Create Account> Then type in her name, at the next screen choose administrator.. When she is done go back to user accounts in the control panel> choose change an account> then choose change the account type. This is where you would change it back to limited..
