XP PC wont shut down without using power button
I just reinstalled MCE, and for some reason it WONT shut down from windows. I have to do the hard shutdown using the power button - not good. If i try to shut down from windows, it just sits at the "windows is shutting down..." screen. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

ah well, thanks for the idea, you made me realize i should turn to google which brought me to a microsoft page that says that "the cause of the issue is that the welcome screen is turned on"...i laughed out loud at that fix, gotta love M$. Thanks!
