Windows XP Pro will not Boot- BSOD
This pass weekend I was working on a computer that was severly infected with malware. After running Spybot a few times in safe mode and normal mode, I installed SP2, and then proceeded to install the Anti-virus software. After the AV completed install, I restarted the system to complete the installation. When the system restarted, it got as far as the windows is starting box and then BSOD.
Error message: Stop c000021a Fatal stop Error Does anyone know if I can use a Windows XP home cd to do a repair install on Windows XP Pro? Also, I did not have the key for the OS that is installed on the system. Can I use the key with the CD instead?

I believe that I found my answer in the following thread:
