Getting rid of Desktop item

Hey, i have question regarding a item on my desktop. About a month ago i connected a usb bluetooth dongle and connected a few bluetooth things to my computer like my phone. Ever since then there has been a My Bluetooth Places icon on my desktop. I can get rid of it. I tried putting it in the recycle bin and looked to see if there was a setting i could change but i cant figure out how to remove it. The usb device has been removed and it doesn't seem to make any difference what i do.

Its driving me nuts, i try to keep a clean desktop and i can get rid of this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ben

Try checking in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop". If it is there it will keep popping back up on your desktop too. This has worked for me to remove persistent icons on my desktop. Although according to Statica's post it may be a much more involved problem. Use what ever drive letter for the correct one for your system.
