Emachines Windows Recovery issue
I'm having issues trying to reinstall Windows on my old emachines computer using the emachines recovery disk set. After rebooting and following the formatting instructions, it runs Symantec's Ghost program (which requires all three cd's) and then reboots itself. The computer gets to the "Please wait while Windows prepares..." and then freezes forever. I've let it sit for over an hour and have gotten nothing. Upon rebooting I get the Windows splash and then a black screen. I've reinstalled Windows twice and have gotten the same results.
The emachines is an old T1100 with all the original specs. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
