dos4gw games crash

Hi,

I can't play some old games on my laptop. These games use 32 bit extender dos4gw like Duke Nukem 3d, Blood, Doom, ...

On Windows XP, I can't use VESA modes so I set them for the 320x200 mode. I run them for a few minutes them they crash.

On MS-DOS (or FreeDOS), they fail the start and crash (freeze) while DOS4GW is load. This appens using both old VGA and VESA modes.

There are no warnings nor messages.

Seting up the games for no sound doesn't solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Laptop specs: core duo, 1gb ram, ati mobility radeon x1400, dual boot MS-DOS 6.22 and MS Windows XP
