Do you have Norton or AVG anti-virus or spyware? Try booting your computer in safe mode and run these anti spyware and virus softwares and make sure there virus definition and other services are updated?
If they donot find any spware or virus ,then use system restore? |

when you right click on desktop, click properties, click desktop tab and then click customise desktop, you can set which icons appear on your desktop.
i would try TWEAKUI as a program to download to undo some of the tweaks you did

If you can boot your computer into safe mode then try System Restore:
Go to start----->All programs------>Accessories------>System tools-----> System Restore. A system restore window will pop up asking you to restore your system to earlier state. Click on it and your computer will be restored to earlier state. If you haven't made any restore points yourself, then the computer will be restored to a restore point automatically created by it. |
