backup,all windows updates

hi..i want to know "how"..or is there is a program that let me backup all windows update..
i'm going to wipe my hard drive then install os then i want to install all my regular windows updates at once.. if you know let me know...thanks

You can't backup the ones currently installed but you can download em from here:

I don't think there is a way to backup update that have been installed(That I'm aware of).

You could try to download before hand but I'm not sure there is an option for that.

You can get all the updates at once from Microsoft though their website or automatic updates.



(I guess I need to write my posts a bit quicker)

Simple solution is to download Autopatcher XP (www.autopacther.com), it contains all of the updates and some extra tweaks. I use it all the time.

Another solution is to slipstream the hotfixes (patches) and service packs into your existing Windows CD; I've done this for XP since Service Pack 1 was released. Since I'm not sure whether this forum supports such actions I'll leave this here until a moderator confirms that it is safe to continue.

However, a far better solution would be to make a clean install and then just use something like Acronis TrueImage to take an image of the hdd and re-install from that.
