xp x86 or xp x64?

Because of an update problem I had to delete Net Framework and to re-download I can't figure which one I need. how do i know if im running xp x86 or xp x64?

You need to download whichever version your operating system is.....32 bit (x86) or 64 bit (x64). If you don't know for sure, click the Start button, right-click My Computer, and select Properties. Under the General tab, toward the bottom, where it says "Computer", if it's a 64 bit operating system, it should say something there about "64 bit". If it doesn't say that, then your OS is likely a 32 bit version and you'd need the x86 version of .NET.

Thanks Juppy: I't didn't show rather it was 32 bit ,but I thought you was right,but I still had that nag so I got a brain storm and all the time it was almost in front of me.

I went to start/ programs /accessories /system tools/system information,and I found what I needed! It is x86. Thanks much for your help.
