Uninstalling NET Framework
I installed a utility that required NET Framework, so I installed that, too. After a couple of months of never using the utility, I decided to uninstall it and figured I might as well uninstall NET Framework, too. However, Add/Remove lists NET Framework 1.1 (plus a hotfix) and NET Framework 2.0 (plus two security updates).
I'd just as soon remove both, but how do I find out if an application, other than the one I just uninstalled, is using either of them? I don't like rude surprises. Thanks, EdP |

"It provides a large body of pre-coded solutions to common program requirements, and manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a key Microsoft offering, and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform." -wikipedia
