Can you boot from a USB drive
Is it possible to boot from a USB drive or does the OS need to be running for external drives to be recognised?
I'm moving from W2K to XP. I have only two drive bays but have an external USB 2.0 drive cradle and it'd be handy to ocassionally boot from W2K using that. Dazzer |

Need to check your BIOS boot sequence and see if it has a USB option.

If you donot see the option of USB in your BIOS settings than you can simply do that by booting your computer with WinXP CD and format the partition where you have Win2000 Installed and then install WinXP on it.
