I got the FAILED TO INSTALL Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework fixed
I'm sure some have had the problem with updating .net 1.1 and 2.0
Like me I searched hi and low for a fix the I found a post some were about using the Windows Install Clean Up utility to fix the .net 2.0 installer by removing it then reinstalling it and no a repair install didn't work and reinstall didn't work either but using the Clean Up utility did and I can rest easy knowing my .net 2.0 and 1.1 are updated Just thought I would pass on this info for others so someone else out there can fix this very complex problem Tom |
