Don't know why XP is trying to install Windows Fax software.
Recently added an HP PSC 1610 All-In-One as my printer. Installation went fine, but since then each time I re-start the computer XP starts trying to install the Windows Fax software. It gives me the dialog box asking for the installation media/path and I have to hit cancel a few times before it stops asking. The new HP printer also has scanner and copier features, but it isn't a fax machine so I don't understand what's making Windows look for a fax program.
