Exclamation Sound & MMC drivers for Windows Server 2003?

Hi..

Hmm, a novel idea installing a server OS on a laptop. If you need a driver then you can probably use a XP driver. If your sound isn't working check this out.

Another option which I use for my laptop is to use install Virtual PC and then install Windows 2003 server in a virtual disk. That way I can load SQL server.

well i tried installing xp drivers for both sound and modem but as their hardware itself wasn't detected by Windows Server 2003, drivers failed to install... also, enabling audio service too didn't work... i'll try the virtual pc method but i don't think it will work coz i read in some forums that microsoft itself has restricted sound support in server OSes so i wanted a way around that restriction....

the virtual pc method worked but it gives sound only coz microsoft uses an emulator... i tried making a ghost copy of the sound enabled copy and run it as my primary os and it failed to boot... any more suggestions?
