Question Installing Xp Home, I've hit a snag...

Im building a nice custom pc from the ground up, and all the parts seem to be in working order. However upon attempting to install the Windows Xp, I came across this dreaded screen: http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/9...lemsighrf5.jpg

Obviously I tried pressing enter. I messed around a little bit with the SATA ports thinking perhaps there was something wrong with the cable or maybe I had to connect the the SATA cable to SATA port 1 on my mobo. But the disc drive is working, it has power and the thing in order to get this far at least had to read the disc, no? I believe everything is hooked up properly and the BIOS was working in order. It is rather odd, its asking for a disc that it is reading to give me this message yet asking me to put that disc in? Anyway the only possible thing I can think of is some idiot put the upgrade cd in the full set up box or something, because I need the whole OS not just an upgrade from 98 to XP. Either that or the disc drive is really buggy? But I don't think thats it. Anyway I'm baffled on what to do and if any of you gentlemen or ladies can help me the help would be extremely appreciated! Thank you very much for your time reading this and any constructive input you give me.

Im sorry if this is a "noob question" btw. And if you are dying to know the parts list Ill list them but Im sure everything is compatible.

Sorry folks, hate to double post but it seems I found the problem

In fact not my fault at all. Packaging problem. The box and everything says FULL version of Windows XP, however the cd thats in the box is UPGRADE cd. You know they should really make sure the right product is in the right box before they ship it off.
