how to turn off balloon reminders

Just a little annoyance: I was wondering if there's a way to turn off the taskbar balloon that reminds me too often that my wireless connection is not connected. (I use a wired cable modem) thanks. (WinXP SP2)

Sure sounds like ytou also have a wireless card. Disabling that in device mgrm would be a good idea.
