shuting down and restarting
I have WinXP SP2 Computer and my computer shutsdown when ever i try to log in with an Administrator account and after a while it restarts all by itself. I already removed check from "automatic restart" under "system failure" in the advance tab of System Properties but still it doesnot show me any error messege if there is a problem in the system.
When I try to go to safe mode, even there it has a problem and shutsdown and restarts after a while. I think LKGC(Last Known Good Configuration) will not work since i am having problem at logging in. Any help and suggestion? |

What kind of computer is this? Home built or name brand?
What are the complete system specs? List the parts by brand and model including the power supply. This sounds more like a hardware problem than a software one. Test the RAM and the hard drive with the appropriate diagnostic utilities, check to see if you need to clean out the inside of the computer, install another power supply if you have a compatible one.
