Quick-launch icon graphics gone
Good morning to all.
On my xp-home system, I discovered last night that the graphics for most of the quick-launch icons are missing. There are plain, ugly squares in their place now. Nice graphics do remain for a few of the programs. Also, the programs will still launch properly. I can not think of anything recent that I did, other than d/l a few security updates from Microsoft on Tuesday. The problem I'm having began sometime around/after Tuesday I believe. I have run complete AVG, Spywareblaster and spybot scans but nothing has been detected yet. I think I will run bitdefender, Panda, Trend Micro tonight as well. Any ideas on what may have happened or how to restore this? Thanks for any advice. |

The free Power Toy from Microsoft called TweakUI has an option/function to "rebuild" icons...
