Change your primary network login to Windows Logon. It will ask you for a username and password the first reboot, leave the password blank and it won't bug you any more.

Hi glc

This is strange; I THINK I MIGHT HAVE ALREADY FOUND THE SOLUTION WHEN I FIRST BOOTED UP. IT WAS AS EASY AS TAKING CANDY AWAY FROM A BABY !----IT TOOK 10 SECONDS OR LESS !
Note: I have not re -re-started to see for sure, but when I did, it went off and the computer loaded. I I am , at times very dramatic and this is one. I have not rebooted to try to see if it really and truly did. The reason is, that I have SO much to do on the computer this late morning and had to get started, but the way the box went away might be the fix. When I get off the computer in about an hour, i WILL reboot to see if it did work. I will get back here and tell you and this forum one way or another if it did work. IF IT DIDN'T WORK, - I WILL HAVE A HEART ATTACK >I WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED AND LET DOWN.---------------if it didn.t , i will go to the link you just gave me and try what that link says gls.---------------back later to let you know.----------Don

I am back this late Tuesday. The clock in my tray shows 7:30 PM Central time. It has been many hours since my last report. I said I would get back on late Tuesday. It would have been earlier, but I had so much (non computer) to do. So here I am starting my computer since my last post.

HEY ! IT IS STILL GONE ! THAT OL'E PASSWORD BOX THAT HAS BUGGED ME FOR MANY DAYS AND ME ASKING FOR HELP. Well ,-here is what I did:

>>>>>> WHEN I STARTED MY COMPUTER I WAITED FOR THE PASSWORD BOX TO POP UP THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE.
>>> > IN THE USER ID , I TYPED IN MY NAME DONALD ( I figured I could remember my name if I missed up and I might need that to remember).------ NOW, I TOOK MY ARROW DOWN TO THE PASS WORD BLANK SPACE AND JUST LEFT CLICKED WHICH BROUGHT UP THE CURSOR BLINKING AT THE FAR LEFT AS IT SHOULD BE.>>>>>>>>>>>> NOW---- I JUST PUNCHED THE ENTER KEY ON THE COMPUTER BOARD. WHEN I DID , IT WENT AWAY.------------THAT'S ALL ! ! ! !
Like I said last night I did not re-steart my computer to see if it was gone for good. I had so much to do on the computer last night, I just kept on going saying that when I shut down the computer when I was through, that I would re-start it to see if that password box had gone away, and then get back to the forum to my post to tell you guys that it WAS sucessful. After i did this, I went to bed to sleep ( the day time) and now I am here typing this to let you know that the password box is STILL gone and IT was a sucess.-------So- read again what I did and remember it to tell others. I mind you that I am using Windows ME. I don't know about the other systems.-----------------------------------Donald
PS: I will still check this post for any replies to this so that you will know that I will see them. I will be back here at 3::00 AM tonight
