How to get rid of a partition
OK, I seem to have installed windows XP twice. When I reboot my machine, there is a option of which Windows XP Professional that I want to install. The first one takes me str8 to the desktop, while the other one doesnt make it that far. A blue screen with a bunch of writing on it pops up. How can I delete that one. Can i?

You probably just need to edit the boot.ini file.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289022 If you only have one working OS and only want one then you need to delete the second line that looks like this: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect Be careful, if you delete the wrong one you could cause some real big problems.
