Blank Page Started Coming Up.

I have just started to get this odd problem when i select a web page, or one of my favorites. If i than select GO it will select and open the right page. It is annoying but at least i can get to the desired page albeit with two selections. It does not happen all the time, sometimes it is normal. Any ideas what could cause it and a fix please?ScreenHunter_4.jpg

What type of internet connection do you use? Dialup or broadband?

Have you scanned for malware yet?

Did you have a recent infection (virus or spyware)?

I see you have a lot of programs running in background...try booting into Safe Mode with networking and see if your browsing goes smoother. If it does then one of your background programs may be causing the problem.

What programs are you running when the problem occurs? Or do it happen totally randomly?

Hi Cricket, ADSL 3MBPS, shut down all i could, still the same. It is random i can select a favorite ok, then another and it may go to blank page. I forgot to say it happens when selecting email to open sometimes as well. I will try the safe mode and get back to you.

Is the computer clean of malware? What are you using for anti-spyware/adware? What anti-virus?

Are you using ccleaner to delete temp files and clean up unused extensions?
