Desktop issues
When I try to open up a picture file, lets say i have a .jpg on my desktop
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer opens up and it says "Generating Preview" for a good 5-6 seconds before displaying the image, way too long of a wait. Also when I press cntrl/alt/delete theres no tabs its just a screen that shows my tasks. before there was a tab that i could click to see my processes, etc. theres not even an X to close this box i have to press esc, theres no minimize button either. thank you for any help |

For the second issue, double click on the border of the window. The rest of the window will appear.
For the first problem, we need a bit more info. Have you defragged your harddrive lately? Scanned for malware? Try www.ccleaner.com
