Applocale Problems

I have a few games from Japan that I would like to run on my computer but I've had a lot of problems with my PC this past year. Anyway, I took my computer to some guy when it wouldn't run and he told me my computer, at least my Windows, was dead. He generously set me up with his own personal copy of XP and I now want to run my Japanese games. The problem is: Applocale needs the 2 XP CD to install the East Asian Languages. I don't remember where I went to, let alone who set me up with the new windows, so...

What do I do from here? Is there another program I can use or perhaps some Applocale patches or files or something?

I really need some help. I'll just die if Microsoft screwed me again!!

That's illegal. Where is your XP CD?

The generous side of me says- You need to put in your original XP CD in the drive when it asks.

The suspicious side of me says- your 'friend' installed a hacked copy of XP. Did he steal your original disk, too?

I wouldn't accept something illegal if Windows actually worked.

Yes, I still have my original discs but they don't work for Applocale, and when I use them to restore my computer Windows will not work. It goes in a reboot cycle because of some .dll file. Anyway, the Windows I got didn't come with anything... I had my computer and a recycle bin. I actually had to find a way to go on the internet.

Anyway, this is XP pro and my discs are the standard XP... technically I didn't even get discs, I had to make them! A multi-billion dollar company makes me burn my own discs!
