Any help would greatly be appreciated,
First of all my sister has a Toshiba Qosmio G15 lap top and for some reason the machine has decided to go crazy on her. She is currently running XP Media center and when she went to get on the computer this afternoon it wouldn't let her do anything but when she hits (control alt delete) it claims that the computer is locked out under the security and it won't let her unlock it. She can log on (administrator password) but can't do anything no desktop or icons showing. She called "Microsoft" but they stated that the system was corrupted so i decided to ask just in case the individual she talked was wrong. Can someone please give some advice on fixing this? Thanks

Try to start it in safe mode and do a system restore back to a date/time when it was working properly.
