splat Windows did not start successfully

Quote:
SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
Check to make sure new stuff installed correctly, if continues disable/remove any new hardware.

Technical Information:
*** STOP 0x0000006f (0xc0000020, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Ive searched for this and ive heard of some solutions like some it was a hardware failure of thie cd roms.

I havent installed any new hardware in quite a while. One day just booted up the computer and i get the "Windows did not start successfully" screen. I chose the safe mode, the normal and whatever else, all it does is ascts like it going to boot to windows then restarts. Same with trying to use the recovery console on the xp cd. It says to chose a windows install, which i only have one so i hit enter and then the comp reboots. I tried disabling the cd/dvd drives i have just incase and that didnt fix the problem like it did some others.

Ideas?
