windows recovery console and grub

I run a dual boot system with windows xp pro and Elive.

I recently tried to install the windows recovery console, and I think it messed up grub, when I try to boot I get "error 17."

When I was trying to install the recovery console, it gave me the error: "No Valid System Partitions Were Found," so I added /syspart:c: and everything seemed to of worked fine, till I rebooted!

Was I not suppose to install the recovery console to my c:\ drive?

Now I'm on livecd, anyway to fix this?

Thanks!

Alrighty, I fixed it!

Just had to reinstall grub, guess my mbr got messed up.

But now, when I try to run the recovery console, I just get a BSOD. Running it off the disk says hard drives can't be detected. :/

The console apparently doesn't like grub, or you need to hit F6 and load a SATA driver.
