Adobe flash

Hi

Any one out there having problems of their browser crashing, and finding out it has some thing to do with this, flash9d.ocx. It just started doing it this morning when I first turned it on. Nothing new has been downloaded, changed, etc. It is supposed to be tied in with Adobe flash reader. When you do search for it, it comes up but it is one of those files you cannot delete. Deleted my Adobe stuff thinking this would get rid on it but no it is still there.

Any solutions to this.

Thanx and take care.........Gunny

When you say deleted did you mean UNinstall?

Look in add/remove programs, uninstall Flash Player, reboot, run CCleaner, reboot, then reinstall it.

Adobe

Hi

I use to have the CCleaner on my computer, the freebie that only took 50 of your problems and fixed them. It seemed to work great but there was one time, it removed some thing that was important to the operating system, so I dropped it. I know they have like a restore thing, and I used that to get the item back.

It is hard to believe that it can find some 1,100 items on my system that are not good. Do they come up with #'s like this to impress you, so you buy their system.? I mean really, to think you have that many bad items on your system, and it still is able to work, is hard to believe. :-)

Any way I un-installed Adobe and it seems to have the browser dropping fixed. I have read of Adobe having this and other problems through the years, it seems like they are always having them. Is it really worth installing it again. I know it is important for certain operations to work.

Thanx and take care........Gunny

You must have CCleaner confused with something else. It's totally free, there is no crippled version. It can fix all issues it finds.

Hi GLC

I downloaded this right from the PCmech site. It is CCleaner. I promise you I will not tell the big shots at PCmech you don't know about this site. The site I clicked on like you have it gave me the one that only deletes 0 items at a time but if you want to buy it they will fix all of them. The free version lets only 50 at a time. And it showed I had like 1100 items. The one I have from PCmech had ony like 15 at the most, and fixed them all.

Thanx..........Gunny

We do not host files - but I'm sure there's a link to it on here somewhere, probably in one of Alaron's freeware reviews.
