DLL Headache

Hello all. My problem started when I was not able to boot Win XP home edition sp2. I got a black screen stating I was missing my Hal.dll. I then did some googling and came across this http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_haldll_missing.htm and followed those instructions. I had some difficulty following those because after running chkdsk it stated I had some bad sectors on my hard drive. I than ran spinrite 6 it also found some unrecoverable sectors but I was able to finish the kellys korner instructions. And I thought I was going to be able to now boot up. Wrong My comp got through to the Windows splash screen but than I got a BSOD stating this "C:WINDOWS\system32\CSRSRV.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette" After googling I ran across a site called Filegurus but it seems this site is not kept up. I have downloaded the CSRSRV.dll but am not sure how to load it as I can't boot into Windows. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Replace the hard drive. If you have data that needs to be recovered, you should be able to slave the old drive back in or use a USB adapter.
