blacked-out login screen on Server 2003
After installing some updates (Windows and others) to our 2003 server, our primary partition got too full and wouldn't let me log in with my regular profile. I deleted some files, and now everything seems back to normal except for the Welcome ad Log-in screens.
The text at the top of the Welcome screen is now black instead of white. The bottom part of the Welcome screen (where it says to press ctrl-alt-delete) is completely black. On the log-in screen, the ID, password, and domain lines are black instead of white. When you type your name, you can't see it. I've gone to desktop properties to see if some appearance settings had gotten changed, but that is not the case. What else might be causing this? |

Yes, that was the problem. We can read the screen again! Thanks.
