Is there such a thing as cache IP addresses in a computer? For example, I have been trying to joing my computer to a Windows 2003 Server domain and it just won't join. When I do a nslookup of the domain controller's computer name, it came up with two different IP addresses when it should only show one IP address. Anyway, when I tried this same thing with those that already join the domain with no problem, I got the same IP address and not two different IP addresses like those computers that I'm having problems joining. So then it led me to ask this question. Is there somewhere in the problematic computer that kept pointing to a non-existent IP address? If so, how do I clear cache IP or log? Ialready tried iconfig/flushdns but when pinging the server, it kept giving me the wrong IP address. Any other solution?
