Re-installing XP

I used Acronis to copy my XP boot from a 14Gb partition to a 32Gb partition, but the computer tends to get confused because the shortcuts on the new partition all say e-drive, when in fact it's on the g-drive.

I can't tell which easly which it's booting into. I think I've changed it to boot into the bigger drive, but how can I be sure? And can I just swap the drive letters so that the 32Gb is the e-drive, without confusing the boot?

Also if I wish to wipe both drives and re-install XP, how can I re-athenticate it? I can't see any obvious link on microsoft.com to do this. I don't want my only install of XP to be unusable after 30 days.
