MSDOS Shortcut on xp

Hey Guys,
Afraid i have done something rather silly. So on WinXP, in start-all progs-accessories, there is normally a shortcut to MSDOS, now i dragged this down to my start menu quick launch in the bottom left of the windows screen, beside the start button which worked grand, but it also removed the shortcut from start-all progs-accessories.
Now i have also accidentally deleted the shortcut in the quick launch.... i know silly!!!!
So my question is how do i create a short cut to MSDOS and put it back in its respective places...aka Accessories and quick launch

Thanks for any help
Mark

It's easier to do Start/Run/cmd.

Shorter yet is WinKey + R then cmd.

CMD.EXE is usually located in your window\system32 directory. Right click on it and you can send it to your desktop. From there you can drag it to your quick launch.

For you startup menu, open all progs and right click. Pick create a shortcut, then point to cmd.exe.

Or you could open the start menu .. take your mouse over the Command Prompt shortcut and right click on it .. go to Properties > Shortcut tab > click on the Shortcut key and press a sequence of commands (for example) CTRL+ALT+D .. then press OK.

All you need to do is use CTRL+ALT+D to launch the command prompt.

That's a good tip, Statica. I have a lot of short cut keys and don't know what I'd do without them. For me, the Ctrl+Alt+D combo brings up Dragon, Ctrl+Alt+W for my word processor, and so on. A great time saver
