Remote Server Monitoring
What software do you use to remotely monitor multiple windows servers? I would like real time monitoring with the option to email / page me if a server goes down. I need to monitor 40+ servers at a time, most are windows 2003 with a few windows 2000 and a couple linux servers. The ability to use the software to connect to the server to perform checkups would be nice to. What suggestions do you have?
Thanks! |

For making connections to remote computers (in different places/buildings/etc), LogMeIn.com works pretty good. The free version lets you log-in and take remote control and their payed IT version may be what your looking for. If the servers are all in a server room, maybe one of the commercial server management programs would be better suited for the task.
