Bootvis
I just read this article:
http://www.pcmech.com/article/how-to...-start-faster/ I download Bootvis, try to install but get the error "The cabinet file '_a load of numbers and letters' is corrupt and cannot be used? Where's it looking for the file and is there a quick fix? Cheers.

Just try re-downloading it. If that link is giving a bad download, I'll get it changed.

Thanks.
I downloaded from the RO download location this time and it worked a treat. I ran through all the stuff and when it booted back up after I clicked optimze system it went through a few more stuff, finished and then just went. No confirmation box or anything but i'm guessing this is normal? |

Yes. The 2 boots you have to do for to optimize it will take longer than usual. It is the ones after that which have lower times.

Yup it's good I only sit on the Windows loading screen for 27 seconds now, it does lower it to 30 seconds or less

After running Bootvis, I noticed ong graph that said "Disk write cache has been disabled". What does that mean, & should I correct it? |

It can increase performance when enabled, but you might run into some issues with certain applications.
