Video files appear dark on applications
I have a problem when I'm playing video files on different applications like Video editor or Nero, the videos appear very dark when I open them, however if I open these same files with Windows Media Player, the play normally.
Does anyone know what the problem is? |

You could try you video cards drier control panel, they usually have controls for brighness, contrast ext. then only apply to video playback.

I tried what you've said, as soon as I enter the driver control panel, the picture appears normal, when I exit the control panel, it goes back to being too dark. I dunno why its doing this.

Update the graphics drivers, either from www.ati.amd.com/drivers for ATi graphics or www.nvidia.com/drivers for nVidia.
