windows installer 3.11 wont install
as per title, i have just rebooted xp and it wont install this now. i have googled this question but seems quite a long way around this. is there a quick and easy way to get this to install?

What happens/doesn't happen when you try to install it?

notice comes up saying that the following updates werent installed.
my pc automatically downloaded this via the update etc. doesnt give any explanation as to why or error code or detail or owt to be honest, just wont install |

not very sure myself but think its something to do with the updates also think its needed but again a little unsure
