How to uninstall a game that don't show in Add/Remove
Hey guys, I have to uninstall Call Of Duty 4. It was installed onto my backup HDD not my main drive. It doesn't show in Add/Remove. Revo Uninstaller, Zsoft Uninstaller or Absolute Uninstaller can't see it either.
How can I remove it manually? Or does someone know a way I can get a proggie to do it? Cuz truthfully going thru the registry and removing every key associated with it seems scary to me.

There is a little utility called add remove pro that I have used with success. I don't if that is what your post reffered to or not. If all else fails reinstall over the original and then uninstall. HTH

Is it installed as a stand-alone game, or is it within steam?

Yep, you can buy it through steam like most popular games these days.
Did some searching on this topic, but I couldn't find anything. Here's the only other option I can think of, which may or may not work: Delete the folder for the game from the "Program Files" folder, any save game folders in "my documents" for cod4, and any folders for cod4 in: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data Then, run CCleaner to wipe out the registry entires for it. |
