XP Home install asking for COA
I bought a Dell OEM XP Home disk and when I trying installing it, it's asking for a Certificate of Authenticity. It has the unlock serial on the disk envelope. I've never come across this before. Since I don't have the Dell computer I guess it's married to, what would I do here? Thanks.

You'd need to install a Dell mobo to get the cd to work since it's its looking for a Dell BIOS

Do you mean you have tried the "unlock" serial and it doesn't work ?
