How long is a WHS installed ment to take?

I've been installing Windows Home Server on an older system (m first build in my sig), but how long did the install take for others who have done it? It went though the first three steps no problem, but now at "Installing Windows" it seems it might be stuck. Says set-up will complete in approximately: 39 minutes, but it's been on that for over an hour.

The little blurbs about what you can do with it keep changing, there's an in progress bar contenually moving in the lower left, and my HDD LED is active so I think it's still working, but there's NO usable information about progress so I can't be sure... There is such a thing as TOO simplified ya know...

I just installed my newly purchased copy of WHS last nite. Didn't take as long as a typical XP install but pretty close. I've been running the Beta versions for several months without any issues. Sounds like you may have a hardware conflict. What hardware are you using for your server?

Did finally get it figured out. I restarted the install and it went through no problem. I think maybe it was the DVD drive. The box had been sitting around for a month or two with no use and I did a cleaning on the inside of the case but I didn't think to look at the DVD laser. It was pretty dusty when I checked.
