Problem installing XP Pro
Trying to install a copy of WinXP Pro SP2 using a Dell OEM disk and keep getting the following error message: "INF file txtsctup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 47872. Setup cannot continue." Anyone have a clue what that means? Thanks.

If you are using it on a non-Dell PC, that could be why, you cannot use OEM discs on another PC.

Is the correct spelling of the file Txtsetup.sif by any chance?
Anyway, a dirty cd or cd drive could cause the error.
