Key

Hi.. can you please tell me where I can find the KEY for Windows XP already loaded on a computer. I have to re-format/re-load a HD for a friend, and found two copies of XP in the software that he gave me. I want to be sure the same copy of XP is loaded again in case the other copy is on his other computer.

Thank you,
cuzzzzz

Google: MagicJellyBean which is a free app that will show you the keycode.

EzyStvy.. googled Magical JellyBean and found article that mentioned it AND a product called "ProduKey" Downloaded the latter (some problems w. MJB), and tested it on my computer. It gave the correct KEY. Will use it on my friend's computer.

Thanks again,
cuzzzzz

Also, just found that a free program that I love, Belarc Advisor, also lists the KEY code number (as well as EVERYTING that's on the computer).

I prefer to use SIW (System Information for Windows) as it doesn't need to be installed and thus can be ran from a USB Memory Stick.
