Slowing down
Ok so i have a presario v2000, i am running a gig n a half of ram on a turion 64 bit. So anyway I am trying to figure out why in the world everytime that i try and run a cd my computer slows down, its like a turtle. When i try and install games it takes an hour and a half to install carbon

Check your IDE controller properties and make sure they are running in DMA mode.
