Localsettings/Temp

Can the folder "temp" be deleted without causing problems. I'm talking about the one in the Documents and Settings folder.

Thanx for your help.

I would just delete the contents. The profile could get pissy if the folder disappears, but anything residing in it is garbage.

Hope that helps.

The system will recreate the folder if it's deleted...

I would recommend it actually. I use a utility called PC Cleaner to do it regularly.

Well, I actually ran Ccleaner and it didn't clean it out. I had to do it manually. I have no idea why this happened.

I'm sure they were. Are they not checked by default upon installation? I'm sure I didn't uncheck them.

I thought they were checked by default, but you never know. Doesn't hurt to check and make sure.

Advanced section - by default CCleaner doesn't delete temps newer than 48 hours. Change that.
